Welcome to the fanlisting for the Japanese musician and actor, Akanishi Jin ♥ He got his start in the Japanese entertainment industry by joining the famed Johnny's Jimusho talent agency in 1998 at the age of 14. In 2001, he became the A in KAT-TUN, and was on his way to becoming one of the hottest idols in Japan, charming everyone with his cute personality and his sultry voice. KAT-TUN made its long-awaited, record-breaking debut in 2006, where they achieved a million seller with their debut single, Real Face. Since then, all of his singles and albums have continued to hit #1 on the Oricon charts. He officially left KAT-TUN in July 2010 in order to pursue a solo career and make it worldwide ★

As an actor, he starred in many popular dramas, including Gokusen 2 (2005), Anego (2005), and Yukan Club (2007). He most recently starred in the movie, Bandage (2010). He will make his Hollywood debut in the upcoming film, 46 Ronin (2013), with Keanu Reeves.
